Peak Performance

Peak Performance was founded over two decades ago in the ski resort of Are, Sweden, as an excuse to spend more time in the mountains and less time in the office. Fast forward twenty four years and the brand’s passion for the outdoors and nature remains at the heart of everything they do.

The Peak Performance philosophy is to make premium outerwear in the most technical materials available and to provide a casual clothing collection to compliment for those who lives their lives in perpetual motion.  As Scandinavia’s biggest clothing label in the functional sportswear sector they provide collections for skiing, golf and training.  Their casual line has recently expanded to include the premium ’48 hour’ city capsule line Black Casual which translates technical fabrics into key style pieces.

In February 2009 Peak Performance won the GQ award for ‘Premium Winterstyle Function’.  Selected from a field of 50 brands, judge and motor racing legend David Coulthard, described Peak Performance as the ‘Formula One of the outdoor world.’

Peak Performance’s products are constantly under development. The company works with advanced functional materials, new manufacturing technologies and its own design. At the same time, the company’s origins are still the most important source of inspiration. Since its start in 1986, Peak Performance has created a unique combination of sports and fashion. Based on ski trends, two divisions developed – Active and Casual. Today both parts are equally important and are ideal in combination or individually. Both are designed for active living on and around the slopes.

The technical collection is divided into different categories to meet various active needs; Supreme, Heli, Progressive, Black Light and Training while the casual collection is simply captured within Black Casual and Casual.

Peak Performance has around 60 stores in city hotspots such as Stockholm, Milan, Rome and Copenhagen and in some of the world’s most desirable ski resorts of St Morittz, Megeve and Cortina D’Ampezzo, with distribution in over 20 countries.
