J JS Lee unveiled her AW17 collection at London Fashion Week, 21st February 2017

J JS Lee’s Fall / Winter 2017 collection is inspired by the rite of passage of children and their urge to explore identity through role play and dressing up – fulfilled through the wardrobes of their parents

The silhouette is both masculine and feminine, synonymous with J. JS Lee’s signature style

Playing with the proportion of size and scale, tailoring features drop shoulders, elongated lapels whilst belts, pockets and buttons sit high or low on coats in brushed check mohair and melton wool

Trousers are both wide and slim leg, full length or cropped.  Wool fleece jumpsuits are tied at the waist and feature detachable elongated wrist cuffs. Skirts are mid length - flare and pencil with exaggerated high belt loop detailing in check and melton wool. Knitwear is relaxed with sleeves that flare from the elbow

Ties, drawstring hems and traditional English smocking feature on dresses that cinch voluminous shapes. Brushed mohair is layered over crisp cotton poplin and wide belts tie dresses in melton wool

Covered chain hardwear is seen on leather bags along with ankle boots that fasten around trousers

The collection features a colour palette of charcoal, camel and black with highlights of rose, sky grey, pistachio and white
